I titolari

What is now La Cicala was a family farmhouse owned by my grandfather, Giuseppe Torquati. In time, the property was passed down to my father Primo, and then to me. Although my professional training was as a mechanical engineer, I remain committed to keeping alive our family tradition of living and working on the fertile lands.

In our vineyards we grow various types of grapes, from which rivers of red and white wine flow, making complete the journey from grape to glass. As well, we plant wheat from which semolina is derived to produce Italy's world-famous pastas. Magda, your charming hostess, does most of the cooking for La Cicala and is from the charming, historic town of Offida.
